It has been a few months since I have posted on here. A lot has been going on for me, both personally and professionally.
Personally: I rode a train for the first time. I learned to play my all-time favorite song on the guitar. I fell in love with Ayn Rand’s The Fountainhead. I went on the best date of my life. I redecorated my bedroom. I had a birthday. I got a new tattoo. I began writing a book. I did the Electric Slide while wearing a giant cow mascot costume. And I ate rattlesnake for the first time.
Professionally: I shot my first destination wedding. I landed a contract as a free-lance Social Media consultant for a fabulous company. I had images published on one of the top wedding blogs. I shot an event while injured for the first time. I made new business cards. I reorganized my client communication process. And I recommitted myself to posting on this blog at least once a week.
During the last 2 months, I reflected on what I would like this blog to be and how I can best use it to not only market my business but connect with my readers in a more personal way.
I have many fabulous portrait sessions and events to post and I can’t wait to share them with you. The last few months have been filled with growth and joy for me so there are also some wonderful personal stories and images I can’t wait to post here.
I also have some MAJOR specials coming up for portrait sessions and that information will be posted here as I announce them.
I’m grateful for the love, encouragement, patience and support of so many Rock Studio fans – and can’t wait to return the love with some images to melt your heart, make you laugh, and hopefully remind you to make sure you capture your own story through images.
